The Garden: Click on thumbnails to enlarge images

The Cottage stands in the grounds of an early Regency Rectory. It has its own very special garden. The Cottage and Rectory and the ancient Church of St. Swithun's stand alone together at the head of one of the secluded and wooded valleys of North Devon.

Good walks may be enjoyed directly from the cottage and an all-weather tennis court is also available for your use. We have our own free-ranging dogs and poultry, and plenty of wild life. There are also various ponds and water gardens as well as some steep woodland ravines and streams.

The peace and tranquility of the place soothes and impresses, and the natural beauty of the surroundings are a delight to the eye. We feel that you will leave feeling refreshed and invigorated.
